I have been watching the talking heads giving Rush Limbaugh all the press a nonentity of his sort deserves in the "news" media, for the last week. One thing that really gives me a chuckle is the term they (the heads) use, "the new face of the GOP". I agree, the GOP needs a new face, but if Rush is all they have, they are in bigger trouble than I or anyone thought. If that fat, overblown, blowhard, drug addict is all they have, they are going to need more than a new face, they are going to have to have a new body.
Maybe the GOP could put Ann Coulter's head on Rush Limbaugh's body. At least you would have a blow hard that is a little easier to look at, even if it would still make you puke every time you had to look at it. I get that bodily response every time I'm forced to look at either of them.
Enough of the GOP's new body, face or other parts. Let's look at what Rush has to say, that makes him so compelling for leading the GOP. He hopes Obama's presidency fails. Well, I've been waiting for Rush's show to fail for years, I'm still waiting for him to go to jail for purchasing illegal drugs, and using them, guess it helps to have a president in office in the time of your legal needs to look out for you.
